Errata Saga Part Two

My Dear NSK’s,

Yes, there is more errata and not just in the sock pattern, but also in the mitten pattern. Hell, at this point why not spread the love!

Luckily for us I can honestly say in the almost 10 years that we have been the Rockin' Sock Club this has never happened. Evidently there really is a first time for everything.

Good to know!

This all made me worry for a brief moment that I might have jinxed us when I made a big deal about our 10 year anniversary, but that’s just silly. Right?

What I do know from running Blue Moon and this club is that you can plan and schedule and implement and manage and check and double check to your hearts content but stuff just happens.

Because, and here’s the part that drives me nuts, we are not in charge of every little thing even though we’d like to think that we are.

Life has this way of intervening and reminding us that we do not run the show. Which has most certainly been the story with our November shipment and obviously still is.

So yes… we have discovered more errata in both patterns.

We are working on resolving all issues and then will post new PDF’s to the sock clubsite. Please check here for updates!!

When I am absolutely sure we have both of these patterns locked down tight, with no more surprises, we will do a reprint and ship out new hard copies to all of you who ordered hard copies. These new hard copies will most probably not go out until the end of December.

Please know that I am as frustrated, if not more, as you are. At this point if I had hair to pull out I most certainly would.

I want to say (yet again) that I am truly sorry for any inconvenience this has caused any of you! Debra, Paula and I thought a more concrete I’m Sorry would be to offer you a 15% off inconvenience-discount good from now until March 1st for anything (except the spinning and sock clubs), so that is what we are doing. we are sedning you an email that will have the discount code in it.

Humbly yours,

tina

Corrected Rows and Rows PDF is up!

Again, thank you for your extreme patience NSK's!

The corrected pattern pdf is now up for you to download.

We repalced the right foot chart, the borders for sizes S and M on the right foot were misplaced by one row and we corrected that.

We also moved some text around for clarity.

I have been assured by all involved that we are good to go! So, now we can get down to what we love to do and why we are here, knitting socks.

Mone's Rows and Rows Socks are really quite stunning and a fun knit.

Happy knitting my friends!

I hope all your holiday knitting is close to done and is recieved with as much love as it was knit.

Gratitude

I don't have to chase extraordinary moments to find happiness - it's right in front of me if I'm paying attention and practicing gratitude.
Brene Brown
Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend.
Melody Beattie
An attitude of gratefulness. The two qoutes above are two of my favorites about gratitude. I love these qoutes because they both reflect the in every moment,of everyday practice of being grateful.
This whole cancer thing has and continues to teach me so very much. I have to say that the biggest and most powerful part of all of this has been working on having an open and grateful heart no matter what is going on. It is something I work on every moment of every day. Sometimes I am successful and sometimes not so much. I can tell you it is the one of the hardest and most enrichening experiences of my life.
It's really quite amazing how much one's world opens up when it is grounded in gratitude.
So...what are you grateful for today?
I'm going to lead with being grateful for you!
Thank you!
Todays gratitude word montage in progress:

This Month's Socks

I finished my socks last night. I love how the colors blended.

Keystone socks

Here are my completed Keystone socks! I loved the interesting increases on the sole with the corresponding decreases on the top of the foot.

Great hat!

I made the hat this time around and I used the remainder of my July club yarn. It will most likely be a Christmas gift. The sock pattern is in my queue for after-Christmas knitting. As always, these are 2 lovely patterns and I'm looking forward to what November brings us!
