Materials:

1 skein each of 3 colors BMFA Socks that Rock® lightweight.

US Size 2 (2.75mm) needles, or size to obtain gauge
-
US Size 4 (3.5mm) needles, or two sizes larger than needles used to obtain gauge

Stitch markers

Tapestry Needle
Gauge: 32 sts and 36 rnds + 4" (10cm) over Stockinette stitch using smaller needles and 268 sts and 28 rnds = 4" (10cm) over leg pattern using larger needles.
Notes:

Because of the stranded colorwork, the leg of these socks is not as stretchy as others you may have made.

Keep your tension loose. Stranded colorwork knitting can pull in and become inelastic without enough slack in the floats (strands on the back of the work). When in doubt, make the floats looser than you think they should be.

In order to avoid long floats which may catch your toes, twist the float together with the working yarn when it extends farther than about 5 stitches.
