Melusine

Melusine. A European guardian water spirit who makes her home in sacred springs and rivers. Sometimes referred to as a nixie, her form is usually a fish or serpent from the waist down, like a mermaid with wings. I appreciate the symbolism of a water spirit with wings. Spirited from the color turquoise.
