I love story ~ especially myths from differing cultures. In all cultures there is a a trickster! A being of some sort who basically causes massive amounts of mischief. Raven is known is associated as a trickster of sorts in a lot of myths from around the world. My absolute favorite trickster is LOKI from Norse mythology.
In Norse mythology, a cunning trickster who had the ability to change his shape and sex. Although his father was the giant Fárbauti, he was included among the Aesir (a tribe of gods). ... He also appeared as the enemy of the gods, entering their banquet uninvited and demanding their drink... .
I have taken my inspiration here from our raven friends and also the Avengers super hero character of the God of Mischief (LOKI). I made this colorway last year as a celebration of my birthday. In the zodiac Gemini is probably the sign that is most like the God of Mischief and since I am a double Gemini I went a LOKI Raven to celebrate!!
