I'm so excited about this yarn with it's luxurious blend of fibers. Cultivated silk, extrafine merino, and sea cell blended exact percentages to give us a soft, drapey yarn with an exquisite sheen. Sea cell being a plant based fiber does not take the dye which gives the sheen a luminous quality. Which means that lumnosity is a bit of a trade off since Sea Cell means our Marine Silks takes the dye quite a bit lighter that the pictures shown in our Sock yarn base.
