We’ve been on the lookout for a yarn we could use for blanket/afghan knitting. Something soft enough to cuddle up in and yet durable to stand the test of time and snuggles. A yarn with loft and a lightness to it. I actually was looking for a fingering weight but when this sport weight waltzed in the door I knew we had found our yarn and just in the nick of time for 20th Anniversary knitting!
Comet is a light and lofty 3 ply Superwash Merino that will translate into many knit projects. It’s nice and round so the stitch definition will be fabulous. It’s lighter than our tightly plied fingering-weight yarns that we want for socks A perfect yarn for baby knitting!!
