Alpaca, wool, and silk lofty and light. A great balance of all three fibers; they complement each other and make a lovely yarn. Alpaca takes dye lighter than most other fibers, so Peru will be a little lighter in depth than our other yarns. A well rounded yarn, Peru also has great stitch definition. A wonderful sweater yarn!

Note for the Moonstruck Sweater: PERU held together with WOOBU creates a shimmery, lustrous sweater. The Woobu takes up dye a bit differently than our 100% animal fiber yarns, so the resulting colorways are more muted and grayed. A Moonstruck made from Woobu and Peru will be drapey and lustrous, with the silky breathability of the bamboo fiber balanced out by the soft warmth of the alpaca.
