Designed by A. Karen Alfke
This sweater in one way or another has been traveling since it was a spark of a knit idea roaming my brain. A journey starting with an initial spark of inspiration shared and transformed by Karen into this wonderful final design. A sweater whose k2, p2 ribbing makes an excellent track that takes us on a journey up and around and then back again. A sweater which winds into shape with a generous lapel effect in the front and a lovely shawl-like collar; the perfect protection against a sudden storm. We have nicknamed her the “Sisterhood of the Traveling Sweater” after the book, because it fits, looks, and feels good on everyone who has tried it. We hope you feel the same.
