100% Cultivated Bombyx Silk made by the Bombyx Mori by eating and processing the oh so yummy Mulberry (Morus Alba). So yes, Cultivated Silk, Mulberry Silk and Bombyx all the same just different names taken from the parts of the process. As a dyer there is almost no better canvas then silk. It's all about that luster. Colour is about the reflection of light, and here we have a fiber that starts as a semi-liquid. As a spinner I appreciate this same luster and depth, throw in all that tencile strength (1 thread of silk is finer than a hair and will hold 1 pound of weight) and I'm in yarn designing nirvana.
