For the moment we are out of Marine Silk Sport.
The mill where we get our Marine Silks did not have the amount of Marine Silk Sport in stock that they thought they did, so they are quickly making more in order to make up for this error. They have told us that they will have some more to us on the 11th of June.
Carol and I decided the best thing to do was to move the cast-on date for the KAL back a few weeks to June 18th, in order to accommodate everyone who wants to knit-a-long, getting everyone their yarn as close to cast-on as we possibly can.
I will know more details on Tuesday, May 24th about the amount coming in and so on – we will post that info as soon as we have it. I can’t promise we will have the new orders to you exactly by the18th, but we will do our very, very best. We have already made sure our dye schedule is only about gradient kits that week.
I can’t tell you how sorry we are about this inconvenience. We will be sending an email out to everyone with a 15% discount coupon code good for a one-time use anytime this year, on the Blue Moon site, as an appreciation for your patience and understanding. If you have any questions or concerns please do email us.
I will keep you posted on our blog and I am sure Carol will on hers and also the RAV group.
I'm so excited about this yarn with it's luxurious blend of fibers. Cultivated silk, extrafine merino, and sea cell blended exact percentages to give us a soft, drapey yarn with an exquisite sheen. Sea cell being a plant based fiber does not take the dye which gives the sheen a luminous quality. We are offering this yarn in 4 different weights: lace, fingering sport and a light worsted.
All Measurements are approximate.
