A soft, fun, bulky yarn, a bit of a novelty. As its name implies, it goes from thick to thin and then is plied with a finer strand of wool. This is a great scarf yarn whether knit alternating with another yarn or on its own. It has a nice hand and makes for a quick, impressive knit. Lots of texture and color.
